Wayne Gretzky

This design features Wayne Gretzky, and my goal was to highlight his legendary career. Since Gretzky retired in 1999, finding multiple high-quality images proved to be a challenge. To overcome this, I decided to use one primary image of Gretzky and incorporate four additional images within retro-style TVs. The lower quality of these images, combined with Photoshop adjustments, helped achieve a nostalgic, vintage TV effect. This design was inspired by a retro aesthetic to pay tribute to his iconic career. I wanted to focus solely on his time with the Oilers, as that’s where he began his remarkable journey in the NHL. The text includes details about his career—his number, teams played for, and his famous nickname, "The Great One," to capture the full scope of his legendary impact.
